World Wide Web Consortium Accessibility Guidelines
These W3C guidelines provide developers a set of rules to make web sites more accessible to those with disabilities.

Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST)
A non-profit organization whose focus is to expand educational opportunities. Also home to Bobby -- a web-based program which identifies accessibility problems on Web pages and teaches designers how to correct them.

WebABLE Services
Tools, utilities, seminars, and legal information for developers who want to make their sites more accessible to users with disabilities.

Trace Research & Development Center
Trace Center is part of the College of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Devoted to making technology more usable to people with disabilities. Site is rich with tools, legal info, browser resources, etc.

WebMetrics - National Institute of Standards and Technology
US Government site that provides tools and techniques for evaluation of web sites.

Jakob Nielsen - Usable Information Technology
The man designers love to hate, Jakob Nielsen provides his views, opinions, rants, reviews, and design ideas as they apply to the usability of web sites.

Frontend
As a software and application developer devoted to usability engineering and interaction design, Frontend produced a "white paper" primer on accessibility for public sector officials. Good content with excellent links to accessibility tools.

Search for fonts by category, name or foundry. Saw a font, don't know what it is, but gotta have it? Send up a scanned image via WhatTheFont utility and it will match your image to the fonts in their database. Free!

Most noted for its Central and Eastern European character sets. These fonts are for purchase although there are some free fonts available in both Truetype and PostScript formats.

W3C CSS Validator
Validates by entering URL or uploading from your computer. Make sure you have already validated your HTML.

Doctor HTML
Another free online resource to check your web pages for code errors - single page analysis only. Full site analysis is done on a fee basis via RxHTMLpro.
